Forgot password
Click here to go to the my.univirtual home page and use the "Forgot password" form to reset your password. You will need to know and have access to the email address with which you created your account. If you no longer have access to the email address that the account was created with, please contact us at help@univirtual.com.
If you forgot your Second Life password, you will need to use the password retrieval page on the Second Life website. Please note that your Second Life username is displayed on the bottom of your Dashboard page.
Accessing the virtual environment
It is important to remember that this website is not the virtual environment itself. To access the environment, make sure you have downloaded and installed the Second Life Viewer application on your system. If you have not installed the viewer, click here to download it. Once the application has been installed, locate and open a shortcut called "Second Life Viewer" on your desktop or Start/Applications menu. Use your username and password to log in.
Problems with voice chat
Make sure your headset is connected to your system prior to opening the Second Life Viewer application. If you are still experiencing problems with voice chat, click the "Me" menu at the top-right of the viewer and click "Preferences". Click the "Sound and Media" tab and ensure that the Enabled checkbox next to the Voice volume slider is checked. Click "Input/Output Devices" and make sure the correct devices are selected. Green boxes will light up to indicate your microphone is working. Check your system volume controls to ensure your headset, speakers or microphone are not muted or at a very low volume. Make sure your headset, speakers or microphone are correctly connected to your computer.
